found a penny right out side the newspaper stand at the train...almost got run over by the rush hour stampeed of peeps as I bent over --such is life.

as I stood waiting for the morning train into work...I was thinking of all the pennies I've found...wish I would have documented the 'finds' better...wishing I would have kep better track of that two week period last month or so when I found some coin almost daily...

the train pulls up, the doors open, 3 or 4 peeps jump on ahead of me with dozens behind me...I look at the first step up and there is a penny in the muck of water/snow/etc...I bendover, hopiong no one rearends me, but who cares...I found another penny......just moments after I was thinking about the many I've already been blessed with...

found a penny waiting for moms train to come in...it was late, so I had a chance to seek out some 'acceptable' lunch items...recall, no national chain in my diet and it's a Friday during Lent...
went to Gold Coast Dogs for a large cheese fries...they were good but the fries were large/thick and I prefer thin...but standing there, waiting for my order...bang a penny right in front of me under the counter...thank you Christine!

Found a dime today...

found one in the freezing weather on the corner of lake/lasalle --never walk that way--only did so to stay out of the wind-thus sub-zero wind-chill
